Paige Omartian is an author, speaker, and recording artist who is passionate about stirring an awakening in young people. At 22 years old, she has dedicated her life to reaching teens and young adults to encourage them to find their purpose and not waste their life. Through her own struggle with cancer, she has come face-to-face with the reality of how precious life is, and how God has an amazing purpose for each person.

During Paige’s battle with cancer at 11 years old, she was granted a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation to travel to Nashville and record a Christian album. This wish became the springboard for her ministry as it immersed her in opportunities to sing and speak all over the country. In 2005, Bath & Body Works had Paige record songs for their Holiday album that included such notables as Jessica Simpson and Stevie Wonder. She appeared on programs such as “The Today Show” and “Extra” sharing her story and the new Christmas music.

Paige has since released her own debut rock album, “Wake Up”, as well as a DVD of “Sermonettes” on Biblical advice for teen topics. In addition, she has been the speaker for a national tour called iShine Live, and hosted a global TV show called, “iShine Knect”.

Currently, Paige is releasing her breakout book titled, Wake Up, Generation, with Harvest House Publishers in August of 2012. She is also writing a book with her mother-in-law, Stormie, called A Book of Prayers for Young Women, which is due to release in April of 2013.

Paige’s mission is to awaken young people to break the chains of apathy, reclaim their value, and live out the incredible, God-given mission for their lives. “Ultimately”, says Paige. “It comes down to this: My purpose is to help other people find theirs.”

Recently, Paige was married to Chris Omartian who is a music producer, musician, and songwriter. The couple reside in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hey Paige,
Dan from Saline here! It’s been a long time! I found your website, and I love what you’re doing…what an amazing testimony for God!

Saline’s still going…crazy enough, it’s been 16 years in the making. Mostly, we do a lot of worship events for different retreats, but we still do concerts; even got the chance to open up for Chris August and “Love and the Outcome” this summer. Also opened up for a young girl kind of new on the scene, Holly Starr. Check her out, she’s doing some great stuff. Check us out:

I teach 4th grade and occasionally I will share your music with them; they find it pretty cool that you sang on one of our albums.

Congrats on getting married, that’s awesome! Linde and I just hit 8 years and have two beautiful girls: a 7 year-old and a 2 year old.

Drop me a line sometime, would love to hear how you’re doing.

Take care!

Hi Paige…

I got your book of prayers for young women for Christmas, and at first I was unsure how others’ calls to a God could really help me. I am a high school senior this year, so I have lots on my mind, especially as I look forward to the future. I have found that this prayer book has something to address almost any challenge I face or worry I have. I would call your book a book of prayer starters because your prayers open the doors to a personal communication between me and God.
My main point in writing this was to just thank you and let you know that Gos has worked through you in amazing ways to be able touch a girl across the country. God bless you!

Your sister in God,

Paige: I too am a cancer victor and I praise God for my healing (17 yrs. ago this March). God taught me some amazing truths during this time such as how precious life is, how we are on this earth for a preordained amount of time and that we need to make the most of every moment.

I was determined that even this experience would be turned for good (Romans 8:28) and God has been true to His Word! Since then, I have had the opportunity to support and pray for so many others going through the rigors of cancer therapy, which is no easy task.

God bless you as you continue to tell your story and watch all the beauty God brings out of it.
